Servian Achieves Google Cloud Certified Fellow Status

Google Cloud Anthos Fellow Certification

Sydney, 02 October 2020

Servian is proud to announce that Liam Nesteroff has been recognised by Google as a ‘Google Cloud Certified Fellow in Hybrid Multi-Cloud’, making him the 29th individual globally to be onboarded to the exclusive Google Cloud Fellow program.

Launching earlier this year, the Certified Fellow program is an invitation-only program for an elite group of senior technical leaders who are experts in designing hybrid and multi-cloud enterprise solutions using Anthos.

“We’re (creating) this unique and prestigious program…to help businesses identify the leaders who can help transform their businesses as they go to this tool,” Rochana Golani, Google Cloud’s director of learning and enablement, told CRN. “The goal…is really to equip leaders with the right technical skills, knowledge, best practices, as they’re thinking about how to solve the cloud challenges.”

The Anthos Fellow program is a step above the Google Cloud Professional Certifications, as it tests both technical and business acumen. It is a series of rigorous exams and panel interviews where individuals demonstrate their mastery of the Anthos and Kubernetes ecosystem.

Liam is the Principal for Servian’s cloud native SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) division, ServianX. This division leverages Anthos and Google Cloud technologies together with a managed SRE offering to provide an end-to-end digital transformation experience to customers.

Google Cloud unveiled the fully-managed Anthos offering in April 2019. The platform allows customers to build and manage applications across environments as well as in their on-premise data centers, on Google Cloud, and on other major clouds like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

This achievement is a testament to the depth of Servian’s partnership with Google, and its demonstrated level of expertise around GCP, in particular Hybrid Multi-Cloud.

“This certification offers added value to our customers by providing them with the ability to connect with Google Cloud product and engineering leaders and other Fellows through Servian’s relations and standing with Google,” says Jordan Greig, Principal for Cloud Services at Servian. “It assures them that we are a trusted partner in the Hybrid Multi-Cloud domain.”
