Class wanted to create a flexible reporting solution for accountants and advisers using real-time data from the customer operations management data warehouse that enables accountants, administrators and advisers to deliver better client service.
The Solution
The Solution
COMS (Customer Operations Management System) is a new management reporting solution, with a SQL Server Data Warehouse, hosted on AWS EC2. Talend was chosen as the Data Integration tool and is used to populate the COMS warehouse and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) model.

Class SMEs now have the ability to design their own reports and dashboards, in Microsoft Power BI, using the COMS reporting model.

Legacy reporting in Excel has been decommissioned and Power BI is now used by operations managers on top of the robust COMS data warehouse.
